Sprint for Simon – the 12 days of Christmas Challenge

As we enter the winter months during these challenging times, everyone needs something to clear their mind and promote their mental well-being. This Christmas, we are calling people from across the West to take part in the new ‘Sprint for Simon’ challenge and come together as a community to help those who are at risk of homelessness.

Sprint for Simon 12 Days of Christmas Challeneg

Sprint, run or walk 1k a day from December 25th to January 5th.

Take the challenge in a place of your choice whether it is the Salthill Prom, down the Long Walk, on your local pitch, or even in your garden. We are asking you to get active for 12 days, whilst supporting those facing homelessness in our community.

The difference you could make

While Christmas is usually a time for giving and enjoying time with loved ones, for those facing homelessness, it can be a particularly challenging time.

By signing up to take part in this fundraising challenge, not only will you be doing something positive for your health and well-being, but you will also be helping to protect vulnerable people in our community from the risk of homelessness – and from Covid-19.

To take part in Sprint for Simon, simply register online and activate your very own iDonate fundraising page where you can call on the support of your friends, family, neighbours and more.
