Live from Galway – A Claddagh School of Music Christmas Special

This Christmas, the Claddagh School of Music are inviting people from at home and abroad to join them online from 19:30 on Wednesday 23rd December for their first-ever ‘Live from Galway’ virtual Concert in aid of Galway Simon Community.

The evening of festive cheer and seasonal music favourites will be live-streamed here and is free for all to watch.

A raffle will be held on the night with some fantastic prizes up for grabs and all proceeds in aid of Galway Simon. Raffle tickets are available to buy now for €5 each or 3 for €10.

A wonderful feel-good evening of festive celebrations….

Led by Music Director, Stephen Carroll, the evening of seasonal favourites is set to see singers from 18 featured countries coming together from a distance for this festive celebration in support of those facing homelessness this Christmas.

The dynamic concert will feature Galway-based choral talents from Cois Cladaigh and the Galway Baroque Singers, to the Tuam Cathedral choir and NUIG Choral Society. Galway Simon’s own choir, the Galway Simon Music Project will also feature on the night, as well as international choirs such as Canton High School Chamber Singers from Connecticut, USA.

It is free for all to watch and promises to be the perfect way to share a special festive experience with friends and family, even if we may not be able to gather in person this year.
