A Song That Gives Back
The late Gerry Mulholland, a cherished singer-songwriter and humanitarian, dedicated his life to making the world a better place. In honor of his incredible legacy, we are proud to release his single, Japanese Tokyo Skyline, performed by his niece, Aoife Mulholland.
The Story Behind the Song
Inspired by Gerry’s travels in the 1990s and the iconic Tokyo skyline, Japanese Tokyo Skyline is a poignant celebration of shared humanity. Gerry believed that no matter where we are, we all long for the same things: connection, belonging, and a place to call home.
Aoife shared that the song had a profound impact on her during her childhood. Years later, she made a promise to Gerry to record it, and with this release, that promise has been fulfilled. She sees the song as a continuation of Gerry’s enduring compassion, expressed both in his music and in the way he lived his life.

Honoring Gerry’s Legacy
Gerry’s kindness went far beyond his music. One of his most remarkable achievements was establishing a school for street children in Calcutta, providing education and hope to countless young lives. This selflessness defined Gerry, and through this song, his mission to create a better world continues.
