Your safety matters: lifeguards and first-aiders on site. Wear a bright swim cap, tow float, and wetsuit.

Dip At Dawn
Dip at Dawn this Winter Solstice with hundreds of people at Salthill beach. As the sun rises over Galway Bay we gather on the sand for a lively warm-up and a quick dip in the sea. Warm up afterwards with tea, coffee, treats and lots of chats. Suitable for beginners and ages 8 to 88 (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)! Open to individuals, community groups and corporate teams..
