Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Erasmus+ provides opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad.
The Erasmus+ Women and Homelessness strategic partnership unites organisations working with people experiencing homelessness – among them, homeless women.
Organisations from eight different countries are working together to improve homeless services for women by exchanging good practice and expertise about their work with women experiencing homelessness. Galway Simon Community is proudly involved in this partnership through our national network of the Simon Communities of Ireland.
This partnership looks at key issues affecting homeless women including health issues, emotional and physical safety, relationships, homeless women and children, and participation.
