Get racing for Galway Simon Community

The Fana Burca Residents Committee is hosting ‘A Night at the Dogs’ in aid of Galway Simon Community on Friday 17th of June. The event will kick off at 6:30pm with the first race getting underway at 7:50pm, followed by music and spot prizes.

Speaking on behalf of the Fana Burca Residents Committee, Barbara Ridge Kenny expressed her excitement at hosting the event in aid of Galway Simon, explaining how the charity plays such an important role in the local community: “Myself and the rest of the residents are absolutely delighted to be hosting A Night at the Dogs in aid of Galway Simon. The charity plays such a massive part in our local community and for us to have the chance to offer our support and raise awareness for the services they provide is very exciting”.

Tickets cost €10 with children under 16 free and can be bought from The Simon Shop on Sea Road, The Galway Simon Furniture Shop in Briarhill or by contacting Barbara Ridge Kenny on 087 3991179. Proceeds from the event will go to Galway Simon Community, who provide support and accommodation services to over 200 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and the Fana Burca Residents Committee.
