The A Capella Knights, a local Galway group, will take to the stage at 8pm this Saturday 10th September at An Taibhdhearc Theatre in support of homeless charity Galway Simon Community. The five-piece group will be joined on the night by special guest, Sinead Davies, who has performed in a wide variety of plays and musicals in London and across the U.K.
Brian Hickey, A Capella Knights member, promises an enjoyable and entertaining evening for all. “We will be showcasing our interpretations of modern classics from legendary artists including Elvis, Ben E King and The Killers. The mix of music genres we’ll be performing will have something to suit everyone’s taste: there will be bit of gospel, rock, and bluegrass,” said Brian.
Tickets cost €15 plus booking fee and are available from An Taibhdhearc Theatre, Middle Street, Galway and on their website http://antaibhdhearc.com/. A portion of ticket sales, as well as full raffle proceeds, will be going to Galway Simon Community, who provide housing and support services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Galway.
